Arancini (or arancine, depending on where in Sicily you eat them!) are bigger than supplì, they're rounder, while supplì are oblong. Arancini have ragù with peas and some mozzarella in the middle, but the rice is not cooked in tomato, which is what happens with supplì instead, so in the end, even if they're both deep fried balls of rice, thet don't taste the same.
